Heading up SR1 out of Santa Cruz you hit a stretch of coast that's wild and blustery. Just before you get to Half Moon Bay there's an old lighthouse, the tallest on the West Coast (I think!) that got its name from a ship that met its end on the rocks and reefs that hide just below the surface. These shots look to the lighthouse and back out to the ocean where the swell brigs crashing disorder to the cliffs around Pigeon Point. These black and whites sit alongside a series of color shots from the same session.
