On those days the otherwise serene and locals only break gets swamped by surfers squeezing into the line up by the stone jetty. This season the swell hit early and I shot dawn patrol where I'm sure I counted at least eighty lining up for some long and overhead rides. Light was perfect on the day that daylight savings fell back and a light mist was clearing as the tide dropped.
