Ocean Contemplations in Green and Gray, October '19
With this series I pushed and pulled the images so the GoPro fisheye was diminished, or exaggerated. I wanted to create a sense of calm reminiscent of the feelings that envelop you when you paddle through thick fog. The weird sense of space and disconnection with the mainland are key factors that can unnerve paddlers when the fog is so thick you cannot see land and the sound distorts. The greens and grays add to the illusion of envelopment.
