Big Storm Surge in Capitola
This winter we've seen some incredible storms sweeping in from the Pacific. The aftermath of this particular one has seen the beach dragged out so the level has dropped significantly. Piles of driftwood were picked up by an incoming wave and deposited in the middle of the esplanade hours before I shot these pictures.
